Transition back to the grind in a healthy way⏩

Today is my first day back to work after an amazing holiday break. I have some mixed emotions…

😩  “Noooo – keep that computer away from me.”
😀  “Let’s ship these kids back to school now… I am ready to dive in.”

As always, the answer is always balance.

I was chatting with my daughter’s BFF.  For a 16-year-old, she is a wise old soul. 😇 She asked me, “What’s your word of the year?”
I love this.  One simple word to keep YOU grounded and focused.

So, think about it… What’s your word?

Mine is CONNECTED. I want to stay connected to my health and my body. I want to get more connected with my breath because that’s when I feel most at peace. I want to build my connection with my husband and kids and friends. I want to build my connection with my team so we can collaboratively transform lives. I want to stay connected with my heart and follow it. I want to feel connected to Mother Earth and continue to explore this beautiful world. 🌎
Before you dive into New Year’s Resolutions and goals, I dare you to journal about your Word of the Year.

As we start out the new year, remember to be kind to yourself.
