This super simple recipe makes you remember the taste of PB&J without the processed jam and peanut butter!
Rice Cakes with brown rice are gluten-free, low in calories, low in saturated fat and have no cholesterol. Almonds are a great source of protein, but they are also abundant in Calcium and Magnesium (which are great for the bones) and Vitamin E (to prevent cancer and heart disease). Blueberries have a high amount of antioxidants to reduce free radical damage and prevent cancer. If you don’t have blueberries handy, sliced bananas are also tasty and nutritious alternative.
Ingredients: All you need is a brown rice cake, 1-2 Tbsp organic almond butter, and a handful of blueberries or banana slices. You can sprinkle on some hemp seeds for extra protein (all your essential amino acids).
