Mainstream Medicine vs. Holistic Health

Our society is split with so much of our thinking these days.

I would be dumb to bring up politics – NO WAY!

Instead, I’ll stick with a topic that I am passionate about… Your health and wellbeing.

At a recent seminar, I saw a cool chart and I’d like to share the HUGE health gap in our society. 
I challenge you to read it through and ask yourself…

Which side do you believe in?
Which way do you want to live your life?


THE PARADIGM: 💊 Conventional Healthcare:   Your body is broken.
When you see a doctor, they find out what is wrong with you and they prescribe you a drug.  

🍏 Holistic Healthcare:   Your body is wise.
Holistic practitioners believe that the body is smart and adaptable.  If you treat the body well (with proper nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress management), the body will heal and thrive.

THE APPROACH: 💊 Conventional Healthcare:   Through medicine.
If you complain of a symptom, #1 treatment method is through medication (which most likely has a tons of side effects).

🍏 Holistic Health:   By addressing the root cause. Holistic health considers the whole person (and their daily habits) to determine the root cause of symptoms.   With this key knowledge, the body can heal naturally (without drugs and more side effects).

THE INTERVENTION: 💊 Conventional Healthcare:  With pills.
Treat symptoms with pills.

🍏 Holistic Health:  With Skills.
Learn new skills to address the root cause and relieve symptoms. And during this journey, get connected with your body.

SELF BELIEF: 💊 Conventional Healthcare:   Hopeless.
When your doc prescribes one pill after another to solve your health problems, it can feel hopeless and out of control.  

🍏 Holistic Health:   Hopeful.
When you have the key knowledge and learn skills to adapt your lifestyle habits to solve your symptoms, it feels hopeful and empowering!

SIDE EFFECTS: 💊 Conventional Healthcare:   New symptoms and medication.
With each new medication, comes more symptoms and frustration.

🍏 Holistic Health:   New wardrobe.  
When treating your body and mind kindly…
When positively changing your lifestyle habits…
You will see and feel beautiful results, like naturally dropping weight, reviving your energy,  reducing inflammation, and bolstering your self-confidence.


Just to be clear, I do believe in mainstream medicine and I have 100% respect for doctors. 
And I am grateful for all the medications that have helped me and my family through the years.
There is definitely a time and place for conventional medicine.

🌞 But if YOU want to be proactive about your health and get in tune with your body…
🌞 If YOU want to take the driver’s seat and gain control of your health…

Then holistic health is a more logical and balanced approach.
You will need to learn the essential knowledge and skills to change and adapt your daily patterns.
