Are you Type A Personality?

  • Multitasker
  • Goal oriented
  • List checker
  • Driven
  • Impatient at time
  • Always need to be busy
  • Hard on yourself

Through the years, I have noticed that approximately 3/4 of our clients have Type A Personality.
Why is this??   I know why!

On one hand, it’s good to have health goals and closely track your progress.  It’s good to be determined and push yourself.  Yes, that’s awesome BUT…

These personality traits will also get you in trouble. 

Here are some examples: 

  • Most of our clients… Research tons of diets, always searching for an answer (hard to enjoy NOW)
  • Want fast results (lots of pressure on yourself)
  • Life seems to sway to extremes (diet/binge, exercise hard/no exercise, on track/off track)
  • No time for meditation “I could be doing more productive things”
  • Schedule is full and feeling overwhelmed
  • Feels impossible to balance it all

All these thoughts and patterns lead to one thing… Activated cortisol and stress hormones.

And guess what my friends? 😲

Elevated cortisol over time leads to weight gain, anxiety inflammation, uncontrolled cravings, and a damaged metabolism.

You have to meet Jill!  She is your classic Type A who has learned to embrace the positive qualities of her personality and let go (or turn down the volume) of the characteristics that have been sabotaging her health and her success for 20+ years.
