Cravings getting out of control?

Wanna know the most effective way to minimize cravings?
Whether you have a sweet tooth or salty/crunchy cravings, I am going to help you gain control!  And to be honest, it’s much easier than you think.

When working with new clients, they describe the severity of their cravings (for ice cream, diet coke, cheez-its, M&M’s, you name it).  Some people have struggled with these addictions most of their lives. 

After so many failed attempts, they hand over the reigns to me. 
And guess what… After one week of working together, cravings are minimized!  Just cutting out sweets and processed carbs is NOT that answer.  No, that will only fuel cravings more.  Instead, I fix the root patterns that are causing cravings and like magic, they are gone.
This is what I do…

#1.  I set some ground rules or goals to stabilize blood sugar. 
Basically, if your blood sugar zig zags through the day, you will always be fueling cravings and it will be impossible to escape them.
There are so-o-o many things that people unknowingly do that sabotage their blood sugar (and spark cravings).  Here are some examples…

  • Do you have long gaps between meals?
  • Do you eat fruit (by itself) as a snack?
  • Do you skip breakfast?
  • Do you drink soda, sweet tea, juice, cow milk, or diet drinks?
  • Are you purposely skipping carbs at meals?
  • Do you workout on an empty belly?
  • Do you wait over an hour to refuel after your workout?

#2.  I help my clients shift their mindset and reduce stress.  
Ever notice?… When you are stressed and your mind is cluttered with too many negative thoughts, you are way more likely to reach for sweets or a comfort food.  Happens to us all my friend.  This is why I always help my clients calm down their adrenals (stress hormones).
