As a nutritionist and health coach, I am here to challenge you today to focus on something totally different… A quick shift of thoughts. 🧠

✨ You don’t have to let go of your looks and your house and your surroundings.
✨ You just have to make a conscious effort to focus more on these two areas.

1. Your daily thoughts.

I want you to start listening to your thoughts and really listen to them.  You are going to notice that most of your thoughts are negative.  And one more thing… Most of these negative thoughts are repeated every single day.    Here’s a scary stat that opened my eyes (from Vanessa Loder): We have approximately 60,000 thoughts/day80% of them are negative90% are repeated every day   Most people do not know that your thoughts are the #1 thing sabotaging your success.  When trying to gain control of your health, you need to depend on yourself.  You need to talk nice to yourself.  You need to encourage and love yourself for who you are right now.   In our coaching program, we help our clients identify thoughts that are keeping them stuck.  And we teach them how to redirect these thoughts to reverse the unhealthy cycle and build positive momentum through their wellness journey. 

2. Your daily patterns.

Start paying attention to your daily habits and routines. I challenge you to journal about them:

  • Your morning routine 🌅
  • Your evening routine 🌌
  • Your sleep patterns 💤
  • Your exercise routine 💪🏻
  • Your meal schedule 📆
  • Your nutrition choices ✅
  • Your menu planning routine 📃
  • Your work schedule (time management) 🏢
  • Your ME time (quiet time) 🧘🏻‍♀️

Are you consistent or do you tend to sway back and forth (on track/off track)?   Most clients come to us with lifestyle extremes fluctuating between ON TRACK (eating healthy, getting rid of sugar, exercising every day, packing meals, trying to get more sleep) + OFF TRACK (giving up, eating whatever, no time for exercise, spending too much time on phone).   They don’t understand that this life of back and forth is activating stress hormones, which will always sabotage your health by putting on weight, causing inflammation, and making you feel anxious.

Most clients come to use because they want to lose weight but deep down, the real reason is because they want to gain control of their daily habits.  They want to learn the right choices and habits for them.  They want to feel good every day and confident about maintaining these daily routines.
