Yes, I know it tastes good!Β Like, who doesn’t like ice cream?π§
But unfortunately, sugar is bad for your health and will slow down your metabolism.
ππΎΒ Sugar causes bloat, fatigue, brain fog and major cravings.
ππΎΒ It’s highly addictive and inflammatory.
So, that leads me back to the question… βWhat should we limit sugar to in a dayβ
I want to give you a clear # but first, it’s essential that we talk about something more important…

π Instead of analyzing your daily needs or daily limit (of sugar), break it down meal by meal.
π If you follow this logic, you will learn how to stabilize your blood sugar and stress hormones!

Here are 2 different examples:
π Scenario #1:Β You ate 30 grams of sugar in the day.Β You ate minimal sugar in the morning and afternoon but then you splurged at dinner.Β You drank 2 margaritas and had dessert.Β After dinner, you felt bloated and your pants were popping open and you felt like you needed a nap, pronto. π€
π Scenario #2:Β You still consumed 30 grams of sugar in the day, but it was evenly dispersed throughout 5 small meals.Β Even though you ate the same amount of sugar, your body was able to metabolize it, your blood sugar was stable, and you felt good all day. ππΌ

Here are my clear answers:
π‘ Answer #1: If you are a diabetic or insulin resistant, I recommend to limit sugar to 5 grams of sugar or less at a meal (5 meals/day).
π‘ Answer #2:Β If you are NOT diabetic but you want to lose weight, I recommend to limit sugar to 10 grams of sugar or less at a meal (5 meals/day).
