Be proactive against COVID👊

– Do you find yourself talking about Covid a lot ❓
– Do you think and worry about it a lot ❓
– Are you nervous with your kids back to school ❓
– Do you feel extra stressed lately ❓

Personally, I don’t like to talk about Covid too much because it usually ramps up my stress levels and then stress depresses my immune system.

Instead of worrying about things I cannot control, my approach is to be proactive against Covid and then let go of that stressor.

I have a 3-Prong Approach that will help boost your immune system for you and your family.

My Anti-Covid Lifestyle Checklist (Part 1): 💦
Other than the obvious CDC recommendations  (vaccinations, masks and distancing), this list focuses on daily lifestyle habits that reduce stress and boost energy and immunity.

  • Get lots of sleep, at least 7 hours.  This is one of the most powerful things you can do to boost your immunity.
  • Clean up your diet.  Reduce or minimize inflammatory foods and beverages, like soda, sweets, processed carbs, fast food, and junk food.
  • Give your immune system a break by reducing caffeine and bumping up water intake.
  • No skipping breakfast or large chunks of time between meals.  This is stressful for the body.
  • Try to exercise or at least be active for 20 min+ everyday.  Aim for some nature time with big cleansing breaths.

Supplements to Boost Immunity (Part 2): 💪🏼
It is becoming apparent that certain supplements are helping.  I have created two Supplement Protocols to help boost your immune system and be proactive against Covid.  You can view them in Wellevate, our free, simplified online ordering portal for Pharmaceutical Grade Supplements at a discount.

  • Adult Immune Boosting Protocol
  • Children Immune Boosting Protocol (in liquid or chewable forms)

Let Go of Stress (Part 3): 🙏🏼
This is the most important step.  If you continually hold on to stress with feelings of worry, anxiety, and overwhelm, this will skyrocket your stress hormones and depress your immune system.

  • Learn how to redirect your stressful thoughts.  This may not be easy but awareness is the first step.  Pay attention to how much you think and talk and worry about Covid.  When your mind goes there, take a breath and think of something happy, like your pet or a sweet memory.
  • Start meditating regularly.  Instead of getting absorbed into stressful thoughts, meditation is an amazing tool to help redirect you.
  • If you are that person who gets sucked into the news and social media, notice how it makes you feel.  Most likely, it is causing you more anxiety.
  • Instead of focusing on what you are scared of, let’s shift focus to all the awesomeness in your world.  We have so much to be grateful for!
