Top 5 Quick Food Prep Ideas

I know that most people don’t have enough time to dedicate towards hours of food prepping.  Truly, all you need is 30 min to one hour and you can transform your nutrition.  I’ve said it a million times…If you have healthy choices readily available, you will make better choices, you will eat out less, and you will feel better.  Here is my prepping routine:

Top 5 Quick Food Prep Ideas:

  1. Hard-boiled eggs – I have these readily available every week!
  2. Overnight oats – This is another one that I prep every week.  My kids love it so much that they learned how to prep it as well.
  3. Brown rice or quinoa in the rice cooker – Easiest thing ever.  Takes me 2 minutes to prep rice or quinoa for the next 5 days.
  4. Crock pot soups – At least once a week, I prep a crock pot meat or soup.  Find some staple crock pot recipes that work for you and your family.
  5. Batch of grilled meat – Once a week, I make grilled or baked meat for dinner.  On these evenings, I make lots extra for the week.  My typical grilled meats include chicken, chicken sausage, salmon, and turkey/veggie burgers.
