๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿพ This way of thinking is like dieting (the opposite of balanced, healthy living).

We know this all or nothing mentality sabotages your success so how can you handle it better so you can be consistent with your healthy habits and live the life you want?

๐Ÿ’ฅ Hint #1:ย  Itโ€™s NOT about willpower. ๐Ÿ’ฅ
Most people think they just need to control themselves and not give in to the extra cocktail or just say no to dessert.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Hint #2:ย  Itโ€™s NOT about discipline (with your nutrition and exercise). ๐Ÿ’ฅ
Most people will try to force themselves back to their healthy diet and back to the gym.ย  This doesn’t work either.

Now before I get into it, one thing you should know about me…

I believe in the Law of Attraction or the Power of Positivity.โœจย ย 

Basically… If my client focuses on whatโ€™s going wrong, then she is going to continue to flounder.ย ย  If she focuses on the bad stuff, she will feel frustrated and disappointed which will most likely lead to more emotional (uncontrolled) eating. If she stays in this negative place long enough, her energy and motivation will feel zapped leading to more unhealthy cycles.
So, we focused on the โœจgood stuffโœจ

๐ŸŒŸ After tracking her health journey, we figured out that 95% of the time (when she is not celebrating her birthday), she has minimized cravings (which were usually constant).

๐ŸŒŸ She used to have horrible heartburn and now it is controlled.ย ย 

๐ŸŒŸ One of her goals was to be more physically active and she is now on a paddling team.ย  She didnโ€™t realize that she had accomplished some amazing things!!

I had to get her away from negative self talk so together we created a Mojo Affirmation that felt good to her.

Instead of sparking negative emotion, this thought made her feel encouraged:
I want to feel good in my body and fully enjoy life.ย  I just need to take it one step at a time.”

These two nurturing strategies seem so simple, like common sense BUT do you ever use them yourself? If you tend to hone in on your strugglesโ€ฆIf you tend to feel overwhelmed or frustrated about your healthโ€ฆ
Then, I want you to know that the dieting (all or nothing) mentality is NOT working.

You have to replace all your negativity with positive Mojo that actually inspires you to keep going rather than keeping you in self-judgment and keeping you stuck.
