Omega 3 Fish Oil (Liquid): Artic Lemon 8oz   EPA and DHA from fish oil promote cardiovascular health by supporting healthy triglyceride and lipid metabolism, maintaining healthy blood flow, and supporting healthy platelet function. Fish oil is also important for optimal joint function. It maintains healthy prostaglandin and leukotriene production, which is important for maintaining connective tissue health and comfort. Studies show that Fish Oil supplements may be a daily source of these important fatty acids, which may be lacking from American diets. Laboratory tests meet strict quality control standards for potency, purity and disintegration.

During Pregnancy and Lactation: Omega 3 Fish Oil with balanced EPA and DHA ratios is essential for smart, healthy babies.  According to food consumption surveys, 85% of all women are deficient in these omega 3 fatty acids. EPA and DHA are also essential for optimum growth and development of a baby's brain and nervous system. They make up nearly 70% of a newborn baby's brain, retina and nervous system. A deficiency is also linked to the risk of premature births and abnormally low birth weights.  The only way the fetus can get EPA and DHA is from the mother.

All Nordic Naturals products surpass all national and international pharmaceutical standards for freshness and purity, and are free from heavy metals, dioxins, and PCBs. Every batch is third party tested to guarantee exceptional freshness and purity levels.

Expert Advice

Is your child’s school lunch program healthy?

Improving school lunch programs is a popular topic these days and for good reason. Most public schools have given in to the big money maker companies and have scaled down food service costs by preparing fast processed foods. I asked a student what the typical lunch consists of and she said: fried nuggets, fried chips, cookies and a soda or sports drink. So the typical meal does not have anything fresh, like fruits or vegetable, and is filled with hydrogenated fats, sugar, and chemicals.
